For my senior capstone project, I imagined a subscription services that highlights pasta and noodle shapes and traditions from around the world. Send Noodles is a global pasta subscription box, but more than that, it is a love letter to the act of creation, of making something from nothing. When making pasta, one takes simple, basic ingredients (flour, water, and occasionally egg) and transforms them with their hands into an expression of love and humanity. I approached designing for Send Noodles in a similar way, attempting to capture the joy of sharing a meal with loved ones and the excitement of exploring new cuisines. In the end, I’ve created branding, packaging, and promotional materials that I’m exceptionally proud of.

Research: Surveys and Studies
In the research phase of this capstone, it was crucial to focus in on my audience.
I went about this in two ways, qualitative data from Mintel's "Pasta and Noodles US, 2022" study, and my own survey, which garnered 110 responses in a 2-week span.
The survey, promoted via flyer and social media, allowed me to ask follow up questions and interview some of my respondents to understand how to best target my brand. I was able to user test everything from names to price point.

Included in the Send Noodles subscription service is the Pasta Passport, a cooking journal where one can stick the recipe card sticker and collectible stamp that comes with each pasta box.
Gallery Show
As my senior thesis, I had the pleasure of displaying my project in RIT's University Gallery.
